A pair of brass box spurs by Maxwell of Piccadilly.
 
The necks are curved or swan-necked, there are decorative raised screw heads in each arm.
 
The spurs have disc rowels with a "sunburst" decoration.
 
They are stamped "Maxwell" and their box fittings are stamped "161 Piccadilly, London"
 
Yoke 2.5" wide and 2" long
Swan necked shaft 2.5" long with 3/4" disc rowel
Box fitting (the part which fits into the box in the heel of the boot) 1.5" long
